Peter “Seven” Horsburgh is an industrial reliability expert, speaker, and author. Through his previous roles and his consulting work over the past 15 years, Seven has developed a deep understanding of the industrial reliability operating environment. He understands their business systems, processes, people, passion, and politics of the sector. He has lost count of the number of RCAs that he has facilitated. He has coached new RCA facilitators in successful problem-solving skills.
Seven is the author of the Amazon best seller ‘The 5 Habits of an Extraordinary Reliability Engineer’. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Business Administration.
BRIAN HUGHES
Senior Vice President
Working with clients to develop and implement enterprise-wide RCA programs, Brian also has led significant root cause incident investigations, including explosions, loss of primary containment, consumer product contamination, failures of critical aircraft components/systems, supply chain process problems, and inventory optimization problems.
Brian's articles are published in multiple industry periodicals as well as online, including Quality Digest, Professional Safety, and Occupational Health and Safety. He also has presented at various industry conferences, including ASQ, ASSE, NSC, APICS, and multiple client events. Brian holds a BA in Finance from Western Washington University.
CHRIS ECKERT
President
Chris formerly fulfilled design and reliability engineering roles within both Dow Chemical and Rohm Haas, where he developed and implemented successful business-specific reliability and manufacturing improvement plans. His RCA thought leadership is published in multiple print and online publications, such as Quality Digest, Maintenance Technology and IIE Industrial Engineer, and he has spoken at leading industry conferences, including ASQ, ASSE and SMRP.
A Professional Engineer and a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional, Chris holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
JON BOISONEAU
Vice President of Product
Jon manages development and delivery of Causelink software and the Sologic e-learning courses. He helps Sologic analyze and define client needs, then develop and deliver products, services and support that directly meet those needs.
Prior to working for Sologic, Jon worked for a Seattle-based digital agency, and was co-owner of another web development agency. Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Washington State University.
SUZANNE CROUCH
Director of Training - Sologic EMEA
Suzanne has been facilitating and training RCA teams nationally and internationally across a wide spectrum of global organisations, regions and sectors since 2005. Suzanne enjoys working with and challenging the participants on her Sologic RCA courses, provoking enquiry, creating structure and providing insight into the problems encountered in organisations. Her extensive practical and academic experience means that Suzanne is uniquely qualified to deliver RCA training, develop effective courses and facilitate major investigations in any organisational environment.
Suzanne’s style of training is described as meticulous, motivational and energetic. Her training techniques, forensic knowledge of the Sologic RCA method and appreciation of organisational structure combine to inspire individuals and organisations to make real and lasting changes that improve their problem solving processes and behaviours.
EDDIE JANSON

Eddie manages the Scandinavian Region for Sologic is one of our most experienced RCA trainers, with over 12 years of Root Cause Analysis experience. Eddie’s professional background is in the Nautical and Shipping sector, holding a degree in Nautical Science from Chalmers University in Gothenburg and Diploma in Ship Management from Lloyds Maritime Academy, London.
After a career as Pilot and Ship’s Master Eddie moved his considerable expertise into complex technical support and training. A leader in the fields of audit, inspections and investigations, Eddie has the technical knowhow, problem solving experience and training skills that combine to deliver a remarkable learning environment.
JOAN DE TORRES AGUILAR
Senior Facilitator & Instructor - Sologic EMEA
Joan joined Sologic in 2015 bringing unique engineering, management and training experience to our European team. Delivering training in Spanish, French or English, Joan’s professional background is in the field of compressed gases. Joan led a variety of technical teams in his early career, moving into large scale plant management, process safety and risk prevention with Air Products and Chemicals. Joan has 20 years of experience in investigations, technical training, learning support, reliability and quality, safety and project implementation. Working in a number of challenging environments in Europe, his experience and training attributes, in both the field and in the classroom, are exceptional.
Joan also represents Sologic as a member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain and is an Associate Lecturer at the INSHT (National Institute of Safety and Hygiene) in Barcelona, NE Spain.
Joan delivers training & leads investigations for Sologic across Northern Europe.
BRANDON PRUDENT
Director of Software Development
As Director of Software Development, Brandon leads the technical direction of our root cause analysis software product lines. In particular, Brandon has been instrumental in the design and development of Causelink Enterprise, which – from a software standpoint – was complex because of the collaborative functionality added to an already-mature Causelink standalone software product.
Prior to working for Sologic, Brandon was chief technical officer for a marketing and advertising firm and a software consulting firm, as well as a senior web architect for a large information systems government contractor, and a software engineer for an automotive company.
PAM ECKERT
Controller
Pam serves as Sologic’s controller and has primary focus on accounts payable as well as accounting. Pam responsibilities also extend into customer support and special projects.
Prior to joining Sologic, Pam worked for The Dow Chemical Company, Rohm and Haas, and Menlo Logistics where her roles led her through purchasing, logistics coordination, production planning and HR.
Pam graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Northwood University.
MARCELO HAICK
Managing Director, Sologic South America
An expert in RCA methodology, Marcelo performs investigations, and manages Sologic training and consulting services throughout South America.
A graduate of Santos Medical College with expertise in occupational medicine, Marcelo’s professional background includes environmental, health and safety management systems, strategic planning and ergonomics consulting. Several of his technical articles have been published and his presentations delivered at industry conferences.
AUGUSTO CONSTANTINO
Regional Manager, Sologic South America
Regional Manager for Sologic South America’s Buenos Aires office, Augusto is responsible for serving as trainer and consultant to Spanish-speaking clients throughout South America.
Specializing in quality management systems and continuous improvement, Augusto has conducted numerous international certification audits while serving as a third-party auditor for ISO 9000. While implementing QMS for businesses in a variety of industries, he has utilized tools-based methodologies for continuous improvement, such as QFD, 5 S, Applied Statistics, Failure Mode Analysis, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing, among others.
Augusto has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master’s Degree in Quality Engineering from National Technology University, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
ERIC LIM
Managing Director, Sologic Asia-pacific
After investigating over 1600 events, Eric’s professional history allows him to be proficient in failure analysis of mechanical systems, accidents, fires and explosions. He also provides technical opinions relating to reconstruction, and applications of a wide range of materials. Eric offers language fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Eric has a background in Mechanical Engineering, and more specifically in behavior of materials through his research work. Eric is a corporate member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers where he serves as a committee member of the Materials Division and the Education and Examinations Committee, and is a representative of Materials Discipline Advisory Panel. He is also a member of the Academy of Experts - UK, a fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Certified Auditors, and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Steel Constructions.
