Causelink® Enterprise 2.0 RCA Software is released

Sologic recently released Causelink Enterprise 2.0, root cause analysis (RCA) software that helps teams collaborate to solve problems, find systemic risks, and share lessons learned.

To help plan the new version 2.0 features and improvements, we held several focus group meetings with customers from diverse industries and disciplines. Their feedback helped us design the new version to meet their problem solving and collaboration needs while providing a great user experience.

In addition to the features already in version 1, such as common cause identification, the version 2.0 update includes:

Charting and reporting within the browser - no plug-ins required
PDF creation - ability to set themes, add your logo, and combine report and chart into one PDF
Shared file attachments with RCA-level security
Action Tracking - improvements to user experience
RCA workflow - workflow templates that align with your work processes
Solution workflow - solutions are tracked as open actions until validated
Improved sidebar interaction and features, including drag/drop onto the chart
Cause color definitions on the chart
Additional Administrative options and flexibility
This release is a huge win for the Sologic training department, who can now offer advanced RCA software and collaboration tools to students during instructor-led training sessions.  In fact, Causelink Enterprise 2.0 Beta was utilized many times during Sologic classes last fall and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Not only do students enjoy working with the cause and effect charting, managers can see their progress from remote locations and offer suggestions.

There are also a number of "Under the Hood" improvements in this release, including:

Data – We re-architected the mechanism for saving data, resulting in a significant reduction in bandwidth usage and a big improvement in application performance
API - moved to a Web API REST service
Messaging - added a messaging service that allows users to continue working while their requests, such as PDF creation or file imports, are being processed
Diagnostic tools - custom tools were added to help with configuration
